Ingredients
  

39 g cream, 36%

3.5 g carb-free natural sweetener

2 g vanilla extract

35 g egg yolk, beaten

16 g canola oil

Instructions
 

  • Directions

1. Using a double boiler, mix together cream, KetoCal, sweetener and vanilla, and heat over hot water.

    2. Pour hot mixture over egg yolk. Beat continuously.

      3. Add oil into the mixture and mix well.

        4. Return mixture to saucepan.

          5. Heat mixture on medium heat without boiling. Stir continuously until mixture begins to thicken and coat the back of a spoon.

            6. Remove from heat.

              7. Pour mixture into an oven safe dish. Chill in refrigerator for 2 hours.

                8. Remove from refrigerator and sprinkle the top with sweetener.

                  9. Place the dish under the broiler until sweetener has turned golden brown.
